About the Position: This position is assigned to the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Military Community and Family Policy (DASD (MC&FP), Assistant Secretary of Defense for Manpower and Reserve Affairs (M&RA), Office of the Under Secretary of Defense, Personnel and Readiness (USD (P&R)).

Duties

Drive the creation and task management of strategic outreach and engagement strategies. Develop outreach and engagement capabilities (e.g., technology fluency, community engagement, customer data and insights, data analytics) to help advance Military Community and Family Policy's mission objectives. Create breakthrough customer offerings and advance marketing by testing alternative outreach and engagement media and new tools and techniques. Align outreach and engagement efforts around customer centricity. Lead outreach and engagement stakeholder affairs efforts by facilitating internal and other stakeholder collaboration. Manage and evolve outreach and engagement contact development, task management, and performance assessments. Perform a full range of first-level supervisory responsibilities. Establish and nurture relationships with national, state, local, and military leaders with vested interests in improving quality of life for service members and their families.

Requirements

• Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Requirement.
