About the Position: Serves as a supervisory financial management analyst and technical expert and assists in setting administrative and operation priorities for the team.

Duties

Serves as supervisor for professional financial management analysts and accountants. Ensure systems are operating correctly in accordance with established policy. Work directly with systems accountants and programmers to ensure system provides the required data and reports. Review reports prior to issuance to assure that reports reflect appropriate and consistent data. Establish instructions for balancing and reviewing reports. Analyze data from manual and automated ledgers, books of original entry, and random samples of transactions and related reports.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret (Tier 3) security clearance.
  • Position requires temporary duty (TDY) business travel up to 10% of the time.
  • Position requires incumbent to obtain Financial Management (FM) Level 3 certification.
  • This position is supervisory as defined by the Office of Personnel Management's (OPM) General Schedule Supervisory Guide (GSSG). A one year probation to assess your ability to perform supervisory duties is required unless previously completed.
