You will serve as a HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST (EMPLOYEE RELATIONS/PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT) in the FLEET READINESS CENTER SOUTHEAST COMMAND OPERATIONS DEPT HUMAN CAPITAL MGMT DIV of FLTREADCEN SOUTHEAST.
Duties
You will prepare disciplinary letters, grievance responses and serving as a technical adviser during third party cases.
You will apply employee relations principles, practices, laws, and regulations, analyze problems/situations and recommending courses of action that meet organizational needs.
You will coordinate, and manage programs which include performance management program, Disabled Veteran Leave, Family Medical Leave Act, Unemployment Compensation, CEAP, and other areas that impact work operations.
Requirements

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-04 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: specialized experience
Identifying, considering and advising managers and employees about relatively common issues or problems such as routine leave or attendance questions or disputes.
Preparing draft disciplinary letters, grievance responses.
Analyzing employee relations problems/situations and recommending courses of action that meet organizational needs and are compliant with controlling statutes, regulations, policies and labor contract requirements.
