About the Position: Manage and utilize authorized automated systems to execute plans and programs, and accomplish Range Control supply functions, storage functions and maintenance functions.

Duties

Manage equipment accountability through the use of Property Book Unit System Enhanced (PBUSE) or similar electronic system. Utilize proper warehousing techniques to control Class IV warehousing functions including receipt, storage and issue Provide accountability using Global Combat Support System - Army (GCSS-Army) tactical property accountability and financial system of record. Support individual unit requirements for Class IV materials utilizing Range Facilities Management Support System (RFMSS).

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Temporary Duty Travel (TDY) may be required up to 5%.
  • In the event of severe weather conditions or other such emergency type situations (natural or man-made disaster) the incumbent is required to report to work or remain at work as scheduled to support mission operations.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes using automated supply programs to maintain accurate supply records; AND 2) recording financial inventory accounting data; AND 3) evaluate programs to help identify areas for improvement.This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07). OR Education: Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as: Supply Chain Management or Warehouse Management. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the first year (total graduate semester hours minus 18) by 18. Add the two percentages. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes [insert examples of specialized experience].
