About the Position: This position is located at the 404Th Army Field Support Brigade, S-4 Logistics Branch, on Joint Base Lewis-McChord, WA.
Duties
Develop and evaluate the logistics and property accountability policies for the Brigade.
Analyzes program requirements and formulates local operating procedures to adequately operate the property book in support of the Brigade.
Prepare orders, operating instructions, reports, and related technical material.
Perform liaison between staff, subordinate elements, higher command, and installation support activity to improve logistics effectiveness.
Responsible for interpreting and administering accountability procedures for personal property and special purpose equipment assigned to remote field locations.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position requires the incumbent be able to possess or obtain and maintain a Secret (T3) security clearance.
- This position may require the incumbent to travel (TDY) up to 20% of the time.
- This position is supervisory as defined by the Office of Personnel Management's (OPM) General Schedule Supervisory Guide (GSSG). A one year probation to assess your ability to perform supervisory duties is required unless previously completed.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level in the Federal service which includes providing oversight on supply management systems such as Global Combat Support System Army (GCSS-A), and other related automated systems; managing direct and general supply operations.

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
