"Position may be filled as a time-limited promotion, reassignment or change to lower grade not to exceed 5 years by a current permanent Army employee. Time-limited promotions may be extended up to a maximum of five years. Time-limited reassignments and changes to lower grade may exceed five years, however return rights may be impacted. Duties

Coordinate and supervise inventories. Requisition supplies and maintain property accountability. Assist with management of assigned Formal Service and Installation Schools. Receive requests for use of Training Branch classrooms and prioritize use requirements. Develop recommendations for new and revised supply procedures. Develop recommended changes to inventory procedures to reduce errors.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• You must be able to obtain and maintain a secret clearance.
• Appointment to this position is subject to a one year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 315.
• May be required to complete occasional business travel.
• You must be able to lift and carry up to 35 lbs. over short distances and up and down stairs.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes using automated supply databases to generate specialized reports; completing supply transactions using a U.S Government Purchase Card; or maintaining property book records. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07). OR Education: Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as: Supply Chain Management or Contracting Management. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the first year (total graduate semester hours minus 18) by 18. Add the two percentages.
