Duties
You will serve as a Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) responsible for assisting customers in the development of contracts based on technical input.
You will serve as a team leader who will train and mentor other Department COR's and serve and a Point of Contact (POC) for the Energetics Manufacturing (M) Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) community of practice.
You will coordinate responses from other CORs to compile, prepare and provide Department level briefing to review overall contract status issues.
You will develop and coordinate contracting strategy with a contract specialist, the technical acquisition specialist, program office, and financial office personnel.
You will serve as a liaison with the contracting office, resolve contractual issues during contract performance, verify funding is applied to contracts, ensure adequate contract performance, and review and approve invoices for payment.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower pay band, NT-4 (GS-11/12 equivalent grade level) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: evaluating the execution of contracts (e.g., large service contracting, simplified acquisition process, procurement request process, appropriations) to ensure compliance with financial and technical requirements for an acquisitions program.
