Duties
You will serve as a Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) responsible for assisting customers in the development of contracts based on technical input.
You will serve as a team leader who will train and mentor other Department CORs, and serve as a POC for the M Department COR community of practice.
You will coordinate responses from other CORs to compile, prepare and provide Department level briefing to review overall contract status and issues.
You will develop and coordinate the contracting strategy with a contract specialist, the technical acquisition specialist, program office, and financial office personnel.
You will develop Justifications and Authorizations for other than Open Competition, review the Statement of Work, draft Determination and Findings, and other documentation or approvals to support the contracting process.
You will support a manufacturing organization.
You will be required to report to the duty location advertised in the announcement on a regular and reoccurring basis. Occasional telework options may be available.
Requirements

- You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
Qualifications
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower pay band, NT-04 (GS-11/12 equivalent grade level) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: evaluating the execution of contracts (e.g., large service contracting, simplified acquisition process, procurement request process, appropriations) to ensure compliance with financial and technical requirements for an acquisitions program.
