About the Position: Provide statistical analysis of work performed by the Engineering Division, assist with development of briefing packages. Prepare and present briefings regarding various elements of the Division. Independently determines technical course of action necessary to develop projects scope of work, designs and cost estimates.
Duties
Responsible for overseeing the complete project development and execution process.
Coordinates with subject matter experts and other stakeholders to investigate, plan, develop scopes, and design documents of assigned projects.
Execution of this work requires the application of various engineering disciplines including civil, mechanical, electrical, petroleum, architectural, environmental, structural, and Industrial.
Establishes and leads integrated product team (IPT); conducts briefings and oversight related to project scope, costs, schedule and performance.
Determines engineering feasibility and constructability of projects and programs for construction, repair, replacement, and maintenance of real property facilities.
Requirements

- This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of less than 10% of the time.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes participating in the repair, maintenance and/or construction of real property facilities, applying industry standards, codes and/or guidance to coordinate with stakeholders in the development of scopes, estimates, and schedules for projects; and utilizing automated systems to prepare cost estimates, and evaluate contractor proposals for projects. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
