About the Position: Serves as the Training Support Officer, for the Fort Wainwright Training Support Activity- Alaska Training Support Center (TSC) for both FWA and JBER. Responsible for the Development of programs, operating policies, procedures, and work plans to affect the accomplishment of the training support mission and objectives consistent with policy, procedures, and command requirements.

Duties

Plans and directs Training Support Center Operations. Assures that TADSS products and services meet the requirements of AR 350-38, Training Device Policies and Management. Determines and identifies authorized users of TSC products and services meeting the support provisions under AR 5-9 and MACOM/activity policy. Determines annual budget and manpower requirements for TADSS support to the command, operational units, and other supported DA and DoD personnel. Provides supervisory span of control over the Fort Wainwright, Training Support Activity, TSC FWA and JBER, Establishes internal personnel policies and procedures. Serves as Contracting Officer's Representative on contracts involving TADSS (including MILES) Contractor Logistics Support (CLS).

Requirements

  • Incumbent may have to travel TDY up to 10% of the time.
