About the Position: Serves as IMCOM's Chief of G4 Logistics Branch, Transportation and Maintenance.
Duties
Provides expert Logistics Management technical and functional support to IMCOM HQ, Regions and their Garrisons in coordination with HQ functional divisions and command officials, HQ Department of the Army G4, and other Army Commands.
Provide technical expertise and continuity in the management, coordination, and implementation of IMCOM policy, programs, activities.
Oversee the performance of installation logistics support for all Transportation and Maintenance related initiatives.
Review DoD, Joint, and service specific logistics plans, Intra-/Inter-Service Support Agreements, Memorandums of Agreement related to Transportation and Maintenance.
Assign work to subordinates based on priorities, difficulty of assignments, and the capabilities of leaders and employees.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes provide interpretive Logistics Management technical advisory services on policies and procedures, execute/control all functional process including agency-wide Transportation (Second Destination Transportation (SDT), Fleet Management, Shuttle Bus Services, Master Driver Certifications, Unit Movement and Non-Tactical Vehicles) and Maintenance (GCSS Army workorders, emergency vehicle technician (EVT) certifications programs, Equipment Life Cycle Management, Asset Management, Equipment Readiness), perform analysis of DOD and Army regulations, rules, and policies to translate laws into team goals and services and provide customers timely and comprehensive responses, develop and recommend budgetary requirements, Assign work to subordinates based on priorities, difficulty of assignments, and the capabilities of leaders and employees.
Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-13).
