About the Position: Serves as IMCOM's Chief of Asset Management/Services and recognized senior technical authority for all matters involving base operations asset management/services.
Duties
Provide technical expertise and continuity in the management, coordination, and implementation of IMCOM policy, programs, activities.
Serve as representative on Council of Colonels level meetings (i.e., Army Food Service Advisory Council of Colonels, Organizational Clothing and Individual Equipment Council of Colonels, and Army Supply Excellence Award Board.
Develop and recommend budgetary requirements for the Management Decision Evaluation Package (MDEP) of the Program Operational Memorandum (POM).
Assign work to subordinates based on priorities, difficulty of assignments, and the capabilities of leaders and employees.
Serve as the senior Asset Management/Services expert and Supply Command Career Program Manager (CCPM) for all CP13 employees throughout IMCOM.
Analyze team operations and Directorate interaction and develops methods and procedures that will assure maximum operating effectiveness, efficiency, and economy.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.
- This position is supervisory as defined by the Office of Personnel Management's (OPM) General Schedule Supervisory Guide (GSSG). A one year probation to assess your ability to perform supervisory duties is required unless previously completed.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes provide interpretive Logistics Management technical advisory services on policies and procedures, execute/control all functional process including agency-wide food service, laundry/dry-cleaning programs, bulk petroleum/alternative fuels program, perform analysis of DOD and Army regulations, rules, and policies to translate laws into team goals and services and provide customers timely and comprehensive responses, develop and recommend budgetary requirements for the Management Decision Evaluation Package (MDEP) of the Program Operational Memorandum (POM), Assign work to subordinates based on priorities, difficulty of assignments, and the capabilities of leaders and employees.
Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-???????14).
