You will serve as a MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the BUSINESS OPERATIONS MANAGEMENT DEPARTMENT, ADMIN DIVISION of OFFICE OF CIVILIAN HUMAN RESOURCES OPERATIONS.

Duties
You will be responsible for analyzing current and proposed directives for conformance to style guides, clarity, and duplication or conflict with other issuances.
You will establish proper filing procedures, ensuring accurate, up to date files, and proper records disposal is accomplished in accordance with policy.
You will be responsible for administer the Management Internal Controls (MIC) Program, insuring that required risk assessments are completed, and vulnerabilities identified are mitigated and/or eliminated.
You will identify solutions to problems and suggest alternate courses of action to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of operations and ensure mission accomplishment.
You will conduct periodic reviews to provide program feedback, provide updates and explore improvement strategies.
You will gather and review information, reconciles data, and devises new modified methods to analyze findings and provide management advice and assistance in solving program problems.
You will prepare documentation and initiates above program updates as required. Interprets regulations and directives, recommends revisions and/or adaptations.
You will performing periodic review of current instructions to determine if updates are needed and administering the update process.
Requirements

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final SECRET security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: providing solutions to problems to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of operations; and drafting instructions for the enterprise-wide program areas (e.g., Directives and Records Management, Forms Control, Tuition Reimbursement).

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
GS-11:
Successful completion of a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree
or
Successful completion of 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
or
Possession of an LL.M., if related
or
A combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equates to one year of experience
