About the Position: This position is located at Redstone Arsenal, AL with the HQ U.S. Army Material Command, Deputy Chief of Staff G-3, Operations.

Duties

Advise senior leaders and staff on administrative matters and the impact of changes to administrative programs. Coordinate with higher headquarters and supported divisions to ensure organizational requirements are met and in compliance with policies and regulations. Administer all aspects of personnel management including preparation and processing of personnel actions; ensuring administrative propriety of performance appraisals, ratings and awards; and leave programs. Evaluate the effectiveness of the administrative program operations in meeting organizational goals and objectives. Mediate controversial issues for internal and external sources involving the development and/or implementation of administrative policies.

Requirements

  • This position requires the incumbent to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.
  • Temporary Duty Travel is required 25% of the time.
  • One year probationary period may be required.
