About the Position: This is a Program Analyst position located at the Center for Army Profession and Leadership (CAPL), Mission Command Center of Excellence, Combined Arms Center Fort Leavenworth, KS.
This position is eligible for regular and recurring telework - as determined by the agency policy.
Duties
Serves as a subject matter expert for the Army Profession pertaining to Character, Competence, and Commitment. Integrates Character, Competence, and Commitment development and sustainment in support of CAPL's outreach program.
The work performed in support of this mission has wide ranging impact across the Army.
CAPL Outreach Program Development and Integration.
CAPL Outreach Execution: Serves as the CAPL Outreach Operations Officer.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- SECRET CLEARANCE: Incumbent must be able to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance.
- Temporary Duty Travel (TDY): TDY travel is required up to 20% of the time.
- Overtime: Position may require occasional unscheduled and unplanned overtime.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: One year of specialized experience which includes: 1) Initiating, applying, and planning developmental studies and 2) Providing recommendations for advancing programs and/or methods. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
