About the Position: Position creates new Force Design Documentation which reflect HQDA approved manpower, equipment, and force structure decisions. Position is in USA Force Management Support Agency, located in Fort Leavenworth, Kansas.
Duties
Review documents to ensure they are created in accordance with applicable guidance.
Create new Force Documentation which reflects HQDA approved manpower, equipment, and force structure decisions.
Participate in the application of policies and procedures to ensure compliance with established guidance.
Analyze recommended changes to requirements and authorizations documents for impact on force structure and personnel grade- structures and ensures that requested changes are within established constraints.
Use complex and unique office automation software to extract data for analysis and to format into a coherent manner for presentation to decision-makers.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Position may require Temporary Duty travel (TDY) up to 25% of the time.
- Position may require overtime work.
- Position requires completion of one (1) year probationary period unless the requirement has been previously met.
- Must be able to obtain and maintaim a Secret security clearance.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes the development and maintenance of manpower/force structure documentation database in systems such Force Management Systems (FMS) and FMS Web; creating new force documentation such as (Basic of Issue Plans (BOIPs), Tables of Organizations and Equipment (TOEs), Modified Tables of Organization and Equipment (MTOEs) and Augmentation Tables of Distribution and Allowances (AUGTDAs) which reflects approved manpower, equipment and force structure decisions, and oversight of projects and programs. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12.
