You will serve as a Supervisory Logistics Management Specialist in the WEAPONS INTEGRATION LOGISTICS DEPARTMENT of NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV POINT MUGU.
Duties
You will manage and monitor integrated logistics support (ILS) for weapons systems/equipment.
You will perform analysis and verification related to logistics support policies, procedures, concepts, specifications, and requirements.
You will review and provide input to drawings, specifications, test plans, procedures, ECPs, waivers, and other documentation.
You will plan, implement, and monitor data acquisition for weapons and/or weapon systems.
Requirements

- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-12) or pay band (NM-03) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate duties related to the following: 1) Performing in a leadership, manager or coordinator role requiring the acquisition, assignment and management of resources and tasking in a team; 2) Planning, implementing, and managing a comprehensive, affordable and effective support strategy for Hardware and/or Software Configuration and Data Management; 3) Providing technical direction, analyzing alternatives, and recommending configuration and data management techniques (planning, identification, control, status accounting and audits); 4) Overcoming obstacles and/or objections when presenting new information or direction through strategic communication, objective reasoning, and adapting their message to fit the intended audience.
