You will serve as a supervisory Branch Head position within the E414200 Logistics Integration Department of NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV POINT MUGU.
Duties
You will be intimate with the customer needs and the team work environment for each employee assigned to the branch
You will be responsible for dealing with performance and /or conduct issues as required, and evaluate their employees annually utilizing the NAVAIR Defense Performance Management Appraisal Program, DPMAP
You will provide logistics leadership in the· Division Head's absence and coordinate and respond to all internal management within the Department and Competency and external leadership.
You will be responsible for total logistics management in support of the assigned Integrated Product Team.
You will be responsible for providing overall planning and management of life cycle logistics management activities throughout the life cycle.
You will ensure the alignment of the 12 logistics elements to support maintenance and operations of all field activities.

- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-9/11) or pay band (NM-03) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience includes duties related to the following: 1) Providing overall planning and management of life cycle logistics management activities in support of Aerial Targets program; 2) Planning and expending resources to ensure adequate and affordable logistics support posture; 3) Identifying, planning and executing logistics efforts to ensure all aspects of the total systems life cycle (i.e. acquisition and sustainment) are in place to meet program requirements; 4) Ensuring the alignment of required logistics elements to support maintenance and operations of multiple field activities.
