You will serve as a Logistics Management Specialist in the Sustainment Group, Logistics Integration Department of NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV POINT MUGU.

Duties

You will serve as the Deputy Assistant Program Manager for Logistics (DAPML). You will be directing and managing the development of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) plans for complex major aircraft weapons systems. You will serve as the primary point of contact supporting the GQM-163 Supersonic Aerial Target and the Supersonic Air-Launched Target, (SALT), systems. You will provide logistics leadership and technical assistance for PMA-208, the GQM-163A/SALT IPT within the PMA and the APML’s office on all logistics topics, issues and concerns. You will serve as the acting APML when required, or at meetings with other NAVAIR activities, government agencies, and contractors.

• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
• You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate some or all of the following: 1) Demonstrating knowledge of total life cycle logistics support management; 2) Communicating with numerous stakeholders internal and external to the program office; 3)Assisting Budget managers with logistics requirements and budget execution; 4) Reviewing logistics and technical documentation for completeness, accuracy, and applicability.
