Duties

Serves as the installation Representative with Installation Management Command (IMCOM), DOD and DA on all matters pertaining HR to Human Resources and Personnel Management Information Systems. Plans for accomplishment of work by receiving cases, determining needs, and equitably assigning cases to subordinates in accordance with area of responsibility. Serve as the Supervisor of a Military Personnel Division (MPD) Branch of 10 Civilian employees and works with contractors. Manages the completion of DOD Performance Management and Appraisal Program (DPMAP) and ensures accuracy prior to submission to Human Resources Command (HRC) or Civilian Personnel Advisory Center (CPAC) and the Evaluations Entry System (EES).

Current Civilian Employees of the Organization In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: 1) Utilizing military human resources automated systems such as IPPS-A, eMILPO, eTOPMIS and DEERs/RAPIDs. 2) Providing technical support for various computer data systems. 3) Reviewing and auditing information stored in military human resources database systems. 4) Identifying deficiencies and solutions to database issues impacting the success of military personnel operations. 5) Screening service records to verify information for DEERS/RAPIDS system. 6.) Filing documents in accordance with established guidelines 7.) Entering routine data elements into manual or automated personnel systems. 8) Utilizing human resources automated systems to research information in reference to personnel records and databases. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Information Systems/Network SecurityManaging Human ResourcesPlanning and Evaluating Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
