Duties
You will be required to have knowledge of the Defense Travel System and the Joint Travel Regulations as the governing policy for all NCIS travel.
You will be required to have knowledge of the Navy Enterprise Resource Planning system to order supplies and input contracts.
You will be required to have knowledge of the Government Purchase Card program as an authorized purchaser.
You will be required to have knowledge or comparable knowledge of Department of Navy correspondence writing.
You will be required to have through knowledge of report running and analysis.
Requirements

- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
- Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

- Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326.

Qualifications
GS-09: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
This experience should include a thorough knowledge of the Defense Travel System (DTS) and the Joint Travel Regulations (JTR) for managing NCIS travel arrangements. Candidates must demonstrate advanced understanding of the Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system to efficiently handle procurement and contract inputs, as well as detailed knowledge of the Government Purchase Card program with authorization as a purchaser. Additionally, candidates should possess comprehensive skills in Department of Navy correspondence writing and the ability to perform detailed report analysis to support operational effectiveness.
GS-07: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: This experience includes a working knowledge of the Defense Travel System (DTS) and the Joint Travel Regulations (JTR) to ensure compliance with NCIS travel policies. Additionally, candidates must be familiar with the Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system for ordering supplies and processing contracts, as well as the Government Purchase Card program, serving as an authorized purchaser. Proficiency in Department of Navy correspondence writing is also essential, along with experience in report generation and analysis.
