Duties
You will analyze system performance and compliance and take corrective actions to restore systems when required.
You will ensure disaster recovery processes are maintained and system backups are performed and tested periodically.
You will test and deploy server upgrades and patches and validate successful deployment of software changes using reporting tools
You will develop and maintain Enterprise configuration documents, diagrams, and standard operating procedures.
You will analyze Enterprise system performance and compliance and take corrective actions to restore systems when required.
You will monitor compliance in accordance with DISA and USMC directives such as Security Technical Implementation Guides and Information Assurance Vulnerability Alerts (IAVA)
You will serve as a server support administrator ensuring disaster recovery processes are maintained and system backups are performed and tested periodically.
You will provide Tier III Active Directory support for enterprise customers for resolution of incidents and the fulfillment of service requests
Requirements

Qualifications
You are required to have information technology (IT) related experience in the federal service or private or public sector demonstrating the following four competencies, as defined:
1. Attention to Detail - Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail. IT related experience demonstrating this competency include Monitoring system performance and taking corrective action as required to resolve issues such as replication issues, system degradation or non-availability of services and documents system availability metrics
2. Customer Service - Works with clients and customers (that is, any individuals who use or receive the services or products that your work unit produces, including individuals who work in the agency, other agencies, or organizations outside the Government) to assess their needs, provide information or assistance, resolve their problems, or satisfy their expectations; knows about available products and services; is committed to providing quality products and services. IT related experience demonstrating this competency include Recommending process improvement and automating administrative and maintenance tasks where possible.
3. Oral Communication - Expresses information (for example, ideas or facts) to individuals or groups effectively, taking into account the audience and nature of the information (for example, technical, sensitive, controversial); makes clear and convincing oral presentations; listens to others, and responds appropriately. IT related experience demonstrating this competency include Coordinating changes with other departments as required
4. Problem Solving - Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations. IT related experience demonstrating this competency include Analyzing system performance and compliance and taking corrective actions to restore the systems when required.
In addition to your experience demonstrating the four competencies above, you are required to have directly applicable experience that demonstrates the possession of knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Qualifying experience may have been acquired in any public or private sector job but will clearly demonstrate past experience in the application of the particular competencies or knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to successfully perform the duties of the position. Such experience is typically in or directly relates to the work of the position to be filled. Qualifying experience would be demonstrated by: Establishing and maintaining operational and security configuration baseline of systems required to support Active Directory services, domain naming service, and server operating systems. Using industry standard management software and programs to develop, measure and maintain system architectural diagrams and system baseline documentation
