You will serve as a SUPV Human Resources Specialist within the Executive Management Program Office, Assistant Secretary of the Navy ((Manpower & Reserve Affairs)
Duties
You will serve as a subject matter expert and consultant, ensuring the various HR functions and actions comply with legal and regulatory requirements and meet customer needs. Develops goals and objectives integrating organization objectives.
You will provide functional and technical support to users of DoD/DON systems and tools that support talent management and performance management.
You will develop, prepares and delivers position papers, reports, briefings, and congressional responses.
You will respond to inquiries from various levels of the organization ensuring responses are persuasive and
thorough.
You will perform the following supervisory duties: Plans work to be accomplished by subordinates, sets and adjusts short term priorities, and prepares schedules for completion of work. Assigns work to subordinates based on priorities.
Requirements

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Researching and interpreting civilian personnel laws, regulations, and directives to prepare responses to legislative or executive agency inquiries pertaining to civilian human resources. Preparing various ad-hoc reports, briefings, and executive summaries related to HR issues for higher level review. Experience leading a team of senior human resource professionals that are responsible for staffing, recruitment, classification, performance management, and awards. Serving as a subject matter expert in advising senior leaders on varied and complex issues such as compensation, recruitment and staffing, policy, and performance management.
