Duties
You will develop detailed plans (many without precedent and long-range) for supporting the requirements identified by the Operating Forces and as documented in operations plans, orders, letters of instruction and memorandums.
You will direct/conduct comprehensive management studies involving logistics requirements, costs, performance measurement benchmarking, methods and procedures, to identify problems and propose solutions.
You will serve as team leader for Integrated Product Teams/Operational Planning Teams assigning various studied to participants, preparing study goals, milestones, and coordinating group efforts.
You will prepare and present high level briefings and conclusions; many conclusions are highly subjective and not readily susceptible to verification.
You will direct/conduct cost comparison/benefit studies of current projected programs, develop lifecycle cost analysis projects, develop funding guidance, monitor contract performance, direct/conduct management and contract studies.
You will serve as expert planner, coordinator and advisor for agency policy regarding Liaison Officers and Operational Logistics support strategies and plans in support of Operating Forces, mobilization and planning.
You will accomplish detailed feasibility capability studies to assess the Agency's ability to support plans, and develop and coordinate formal agency long-range OPLANS, annexes and Appendices.
You will develop Master Scenario Event List (MSEL) for agency participation in Join Chief of Staff exercises, and evaluate the results, prepare reports of performance, as well as corrective actions.
You will accomplish planning, coordination, and provide advice on contingency and natural disaster matters and issues, continually assessing and monitoring status of readiness.
Requirements

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and final Top Secret security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- This position is subject to overtime.
- This position requires a State Criminal History Repository (SCHR) check to be completed on any person selected for this position. I am willing and able to submit to a SCHR check.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Analyzing, developing, and implementing operational plans and logistics support strategies.
