Duties
You will plan work and establish workload priorities, make assignment based on priorities, level of difficulty and work requirements.
You will review work in progress, advise, counsels and assign functional responsibilities to subordinates and assess job performance in terms of mission accomplishment and attainment of MDMC goals, objectives and strategic plans.
You will design and conduct comprehensive studies where the boundaries are extremely broad and difficult to determine in advance. Studies are to improve efficiency by identifying, proposing, and devising new organizational structures.
You will direct, coordinate, or oversee work: team leaders, group coordinators, committee, or comparable personnel.
You will execute the mission of the Manpower Branch by determining program requirements and developing procedures designed to assure immediate, comprehensive and coordinated responses to program objectives and goals.
You will provide expert technical advice to the Commander, Deputy Commander and other management officials.
You will Advise management officials on policies and procedures to follow and coordinates proper application of management principles and techniques in the resolution of problems.

- This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required.

- This position requires a State Criminal History Repository (SCHR) check to be completed on any person selected for this position
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final Secret security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: building and managing workforce based on organizational goals, budget considerations, and staffing needs. Ensuring that employees are appropriately recruited, selected, appraised, and rewarded; giving advice to employees on both work and administrative matters.
