You will serve as a SUPERVISORY MANAGEMENT AND PROGRAM ANALYST in the MARINE FORCE STORAGE COMMAND of MARINE CORPS LOGISTICS COMMAND.

Duties

You will plan and direct work to be accomplished by personnel, sets, and adjusts priorities, and prepares the Plan of Action and Milestones (POAM) detailing schedules, completion dates, and resources required. You will assign work to subordinates based on priorities, selective consideration of the difficulty and requirements of assignments, and the capabilities of employees. You will plan and schedule ongoing production-oriented work on a quarterly and annual basis, and/or directs assignments of similar duration. You will develop performance standards, evaluates work performance of subordinates, and recommends performance awards as appropriate. You will interview candidates for positions in the office. Recommends selection, appointment, promotion, or reassignment to such positions. You will provide advice, counsel, or instructions to employees, and/or refers group grievances and more serious unresolved complaints to a higher-level supervisor or manager. You will recommend requirement policy/procedure changes or other corrective actions, based on a comprehensive evaluation of analysis findings. You will adjust staffing levels or work procedures within the Branch lo accommodate resource allocation decisions made at higher echelons. You will recommend or develops changes in position classification, subject to approval by higher level officials, supervisors, or others.

  • Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326.
  • Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • This position requires which requires a State Criminal History Repository (SCHR) check to be completed on any person selected for this position. I am willing and able to submit to a SCHR check.
  • This position requires that the selectee complete and pass a pre-employment drug test and random drug testing IAW DON Policy. I am willing and able to complete and pass a pre-employment drug test and random drug testing IAW DON Policy.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
  • You may be Recall to duty outside normal working hours
  • This position is considered Key/Emergency-Essential. You will be required to provide immediate and continuing support to ensure the success of combat operations or the availability of combat-essential systems.
  • You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: designing and conducting comprehensive management studies to identify problems, conduct research, analyze results, and make appropriate recommendations; Knowledge of, and ability to, research, interpret, and compliance with laws, regulations, orders, and/or policy; Ability to use automation tools, soft suites/tools/applications, and techniques to conduct business and generate reports/briefing materials; Ability to plan, organize, and lead study teams and task forces with members from different organizations, commands, and services.
