You will serve as a Program Analyst in the Lifting and Handling Department of TRIDENT REFIT FACILITY, BANGOR. Pay Range GS-09: $67,147 - $87,291 per annum GS-11: $81,242 - $105,612 per annum

Duties

You will assess and analyze data, identify trends, and identify and investigate instances of non-compliance with established programs. You will employ investigative and analytical techniques to gather process performance data needed to evaluate the various departmental programs. You will make recommendations for the improvements in program performance based on the analysis of data. You will analyze, validate, and identify ways to improve the function and activities associated with data collection.

Requirements

  • You will be required to successfully complete a pre-appointment physical examination.

  • This is a bargaining unit position.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

GS-11 : Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector conducting studies of lifting and handling work operations or programs to assess or analyze data, identify trends, or implement program changes or process improvements to increase effectiveness and efficiency. GS-09 : Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector gathering supporting data to assess work operation programs in order to identify problems and recommend process improvements. Completion of Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree (Such education must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work.)
