You will serve as a SUPERVISORY PROGRAM ANALYST in the STRATEGY AND FUTURE REQUIREMENTS DIVISION of COMMANDER, NAVY REGION NORTHWEST.

Duties

You will analyze an organization or management function to identify processes or procedures to improve organizational structure. You will advise managers on the best practices for performance management, metrics development, or business process improvement. You will develop metrics to measure the success of operations towards meeting a strategic mission. You will compile information needed to complete reports recommending improvements to program operations. You will discuss business process improvement analysis with managers. You will recommend actions to eliminate problems involved in implementing policies. You will supervise a multidisciplinary staff to meet the goals of an operational activity.

Requirements

  • Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Developing and implementing guidance and procedures for strategic planning, future (long-range) planning, integration, existing business processes, process improvement initiatives, metrics analysis, resource and performance management; 2) Compiling and analyzing information to verify facts, summarize narrative information and quantitative data, and devise solutions to problems; 3) Advising leadership on program oversight of policies, organization and mission; and 4) Supervisory a team who perform management and program analyst function.
