Duties
You will exercise first-level supervision of the Records Management Branch and the Central Administration Branch Heads and serves as second level supervisor for subordinate staff personnel
You will plan work to be accomplished by subordinates, sets and adjusts priorities, evaluates work performance of subordinates, gives advice or instruction to employees.
You will identify developmental and training needs for employees and select portions of the administrative community.
You will make decisions affecting personnel without regard to political preference, race, color, religion, national origin, sex, marital status, age or handicap, and with proper regard to employees’ privacy.
You will provide leadership, guidance, and assistance in programs designed to enhance career opportunities for NCIS administrative staff worldwide.
You will identify ways to improve production or increase the quality of work directed and establishes deadlines and priorities for major projects.
Requirements

Qualifications
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialize experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Directs and provides for the overall management of the day-to-day operations of Administrative Service initiatives. Interprets administrative policies/procedures, develops and implements local policies/procedures in accordance with guidance received from senior leaders and subject matter experts in the field defining administrative requirements, and/or providing advice to management and personnel on a myriad of issues. Provides advice on requirements, maintains administrative systems, and/or prepares administrative documents in support of administrative service initiatives. Tracks the allocation and obligation of funds related to projects and coordinates with other elements within the NCIS, as necessary, to ensure project success. Prepares and submits appropriate justification for additional funds in coordination with the Programs. Provides advice to the DAD regarding budgetary and financial issues which impact significant and critical programs. Maintains awareness of and information about the overall status of financial resources. Develops resource (staffing and funding) guidance for subordinate branches and sections under the Administrative Services Department and performs continuous appraisal of the utilization of agency resources in accomplishing program objectives and goals. Support, manage, train, and equipment requirements of certain portions of the NCIS administrative staff. Serves as a consultant to the Code11 DAD on administrative matters, including storage and retrieval of criminal records, policy issuances, administrative processes and systems, and other crosscutting support functions.
