You will serve as an ELECTRONICS TECHNICIAN the NETWORK & DIGITAL SYSTEM SUSTAINMENT DIVISION, DIGITAL ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER.
Duties
You will provide engineering technical services and assistance of a complex nature in support of combat and weapon systems.
You will investigate combat system interface and subsystem equipment problems of an electronic nature.
You will provide advice, technical support assistance, and service pertaining to system operation, and the installation, operation and maintenance of special test and support equipment.
You will provide engineering technical assistance to the Fleet to solve system maintenance and repair problems.
You will provide on-site assistance to shipyard/shipboard personnel in the installation, modification, maintenance, and repair of the equipment.
Requirements

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-11) or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Applying electronics engineering principles and methods to provide technical guidance, test, and evaluate operational problems on electronic systems, equipment, or components for combat system installation projects and programs aboard ships.
