You will serve as a TECHNICIAN in the FLEET OPERATIONS SUPPORT BRANCH, STRIKE WEAPONS DIVISION, DIGITAL ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER PORT HUENEME DIVISION.
Duties
You will serve as the Tactical Tomahawk Weapons Control System (TTWCS) Electronics Technician for the Digital Engineering Department, Fleet Operations Support branch.
You will provide technical engineering leadership in fleet support, post-developmental support, and in-service engineering for U.S. and allied ships, submarines and/or shore facilities on all variants of the Tomahawk Weapon Control System.
You will serve as a Lead Technician and Subject Matter Expert providing technical direction in system test, documentation development, system analyses and assessments, maintenance and repair, and technical assistance.
You will serve as the primary point of contact for all Tactical Tomahawk Weapon Control System (TTWCS) In-service engineering agent (ISEA) communications with the fleet.
You will track and maintain fleet support metrics, regularly reporting directly to the Tomahawk and Theater Mission Planning Center program offices.
You will lead and participate in cross-functional working groups that support TWCS system engineering, testing, development and integrated logistics support and process improvement.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 (GS-11/12 equivalent) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: evaluating ship weapon system engineering requirements, designs, and specifications to provide in-service engineering and testing support functions for the Fleet.
