About the Position: This position is located in the 43D AG Battalion, Office of the Commander, Fort Leonard Wood, MO. Fort Leonard Wood is located in the beautiful South-Central Missouri Ozarks. The Fort covers more than 61,000 acres and is located in Pulaski County, bordering Waynesville/St. Robert and Interstate 44. St. Louis is a 2-hour drive east and Springfield is a 1-hour drive west of Fort Leonard Wood.

Duties

Perform mail distribution when required. Read mail that is undesignated and determines proper routing by subject matter content. Train other office personnel as necessary on office functions Serve as the battalion point of contact on all personnel related actions/matters. Identify new, superseded, and/or otherwise changed regulations, policies

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Temporary duty travel may be required up to 5% of the duty time.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a SECRET clearance.
