You will serve as a SECURITY SPECIALIST in the CORPORATE BUSINESS & ANALYSIS GROUP, SECURITY DEPT, ADVANCED SECURITY DIV, ADVANCED PROGRAMS (CLK) BR of NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV CHINA LAKE.
Duties
You will provide security oversight, leadership, and administrative support to Special Access Program (SAP) security requirements within the Advanced Security Division Central Business Office.
You will interpret sponsor’s unique classified technical needs and applies risk management and implementation of relevant security measures to ensure national security.
You will implement unique security requirements related to information, physical, personnel, industrial, operations, and communications security, monitoring and inspections while driving the program to meet its mission.
Requirements

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- MSP/PPP applicants must currently hold the required security clearance.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
(DA-05): Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-11/12) or pay band (DA-04) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience includes duties related to the following: 1) Leading security teams through complex multi-discipline security scenarios, mentoring and developing team members into proficient security specialists; 2) Applying/advising on DoD Information Security, procedures, policy guidelines and regulations for security management of programs, personnel and resources; 2) Applying security concepts, principles and practices to review, analyze and resolve difficult and complex security problems; 3) Initiating and administering sensitive projects, testing, and security operations; 4) Working with Automated Information Systems (AIS) security equipment, programs, alarm systems, entry control systems, and intrusion detection systems; 5) Applying knowledge of DOD Information and Personal Security Program Regulations and Physical Security Manuals.

Education

Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree

3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
