About the Position: Serves as a secretary, providing assistance in connection with the management of the office for the Commander and Deputy Commander. Performs a variety of duties both clerical and administrative, in support of the Commander and Deputy.

Duties

Serve as a secretary and principle clerical and administrative assistant to an organization with a senior executive level officials. Attend meetings and provide administrative support to the organization. Maintain calendar and schedule appointments/meetings based on priorities and interests. Use a variety of office automation software to prepare correspondence, reports, rosters, requests, and other documents. Make travel arrangements for the organization such as: transportation, lodging, travel orders and vouchers.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • One-year probationary period maybe required.
  • Secret clearance required.
