You will serve as an Executive Assistant in the Naval Surface Warfare Center Headquarters of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER CMD.
This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. The NT-05 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to the GS-13 and GS-14.
Duties
You will provide direct high executive level administrative support to the Executive Director at Naval Surface Warfare Center Headquarters, Washington Navy Yard, Washington DC.
You will interact routinely with Flag/SES leadership within the NAVSEA Directorates, the Pentagon and Warfare Center Divisions.
You will be responsible for major operational programs performed by a recognized expert.
You will be responsible for assignments involving designing and conducting management projects where boundaries of the projects/program are broad and difficult to determine in advance.
You will identify and develop solutions to management problems.
You will be responsible for the analysis of the projects and issues, and in the developing and interpreting guidance in the area of program support.
You will be responsible for the input and assistance from other experts, managers and specialists.
You will plan and coordinate the work effort and consolidates findings and results.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 (GS-11/12) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector providing executive level administrative support utilizing project management skills, scheduling, travel arrangements or resource analysis for an organization.
