You will serve as a Management Assistant in the Fuel Department, Control Division of NAVSUP FLC PEARL HARBOR.
Duties
You will serve as the Records Manager at the FLCPH Fuels Department performing a variety of duties in support of official records management programs and initiatives to include collection, receipt, and disposition of documents.
You will be responsible for both automated and manual records keeping systems.
You will coordinate with various Fuels Department divisions providing technical assistance, advice, guidance, training, implementation, policy and procedures for the systematic identification, creation, maintenance, and disposition of federal records
You will perform collection development, cataloging and classification, reference, circulation, computer system and data base management, preservation and accountability control.
Requirements

- This is a bargaining unit position.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- This is a Mission Essential position. You will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and/or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision.
Qualifications
Your resume must one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-06) or pay band in the Federal Service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector maintaining and controlling records, developing, analyzing and improving the organization management functions and work procedures. Specialized experience must include a majority of the following: 1) Performing records management for Fuels Department, and be point of contact for technical assistance, advice, training, and policy. 2) Provide assistance to other employees by providing access and connection to the correct databases. 3) ensuring compliance with all Federal guidelines in record management, maintenance, and retention of all documentation. 4) Support in task in Administrative Service including, mail and distribution, time keeping, and processing.

As a general rule, education is not creditable above GS-5 for most positions covered by this standard; however, graduate education may be credited in those few instances where the graduate education is directly related to the work of the position.
