About the Position: Position monitors authorizations, distribution, strengths, professional development and assignments worldwide in view of MACOM, installations, separate BCTs, units above separate brigades, and for Army needs. Position is in Human Resources Command (HRC), Officer Personnel Management Directorate (OPMD), at Fort Knox, Kentucky.
Duties
Monitor authorizations, distribution, strengths, professional development and assignments worldwide.
Review weekly requirements of valid open unfilled requisitions and ensures proper distribution in accordance with the division/directorate goals and monitoring program.
Manage personnel management systems such as TOPMIS, SMS, ATRRS, iPERMs or other related Human Resources programs.
Ensure that all procedural and administrative tasks are performed for the timely and correct completion of actions, individually or by other staff members.
Prepare statistical data to form management level briefings which details policies and procedures that assist in making assignment decisions and future changes to distribution and readiness.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
- One-year trial/probationary period may be required.

In order to qualify, you must meet the education and/or experience requirements described below. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes assist with interpreting regulations for management; assist with technical problem solving for management and service members; and advise on complex issues to provide a solution.
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07).
OR
Education: Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B. in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position.
OR
Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the first year (total graduate semester hours minus 18) by 18. Add the two percentages.

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-07).
