About the Position: Serves as a full Operations Officer to the Division Chief planning, coordinating, directing, controlling, supervising, and managing all day-to-day- operations of the division. Position is located at Human Resources Command (HRC), Reserve Personnel Management Directorate (RPMD), at Fort Knox Kentucky.
Duties
Administers overall division work operations, sets priorities for actions to be worked, and establishes objectives for various ongoing projects within the division.
Exercises delegated managerial authority for the full range of personnel actions and organization design proposals recommended by subordinate supervisors.
Ensures that statutory requirements are integrated into officer and enlisted distribution plans.
Oversees and directs development and execution of program-level plans for the Active Guard Reserve programs.
Determines resources devoted to division programs and special projects by initiating or terminating programs.

Specialized Experience Required:
To qualify based on your resume, the resume must describe at least one year of specialized experience which includes and prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized experience is defines as: I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service which includes: experience in conducting analysis of existing policy and regulatory requirements to ensure accuracy, adequacy, conciseness and uniform effectiveness of policy and procedures. Advising higher level management officials of program conflicts between supervised operations and current or proposed interfaced programs and the impact on such programs. Making recommendations for changes in organizational structure and functional alignment to increase effectiveness of operations.

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-13).
