About the Position: This position is with the National Guard Bureau, G3. Operations Division, Force Protection Branch, Arlington, VA. About the Surrounding Area: Situated in Northern Virginia on the south bank of the Potomac River directly across from Washington D.C. Arlington is headquarters to many departments and agencies of the federal government, including the Department of Defense and is the location of many national memorials and museums.

Duties

Responsible for long range financial and resource management planning, requirements analysis and development, resource management action plans of the Anti-terrorism (AT) program. Responsible for policy risk management, strategic and operational planning in support of the Anti-terrorism (AT) program. Interpret and define new policy guidelines, recommends resolution of complex vulnerabilities, crisis management, and possible responses to increased threats for the organization. Coordinate Anti-terrorism (AT) operations for the National Guard Bureau (NGB) and the 54 States and Territories.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Customer ServiceProgram ManagementStrategic Thinking Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12).
