About the Position: This position is located at the U.S. Army National Guard Readiness Center, G1 Information Systems HQ SEC in Arlington, Virginia. About the Surrounding Area: Situated in Northern Virginia on the south bank of the Potomac River directly across from Washington D.C. Arlington is headquarters to many departments and agencies of the federal government, including the Department of Defense and is the location of many national memorials and museums.

Duties

Direct the planning, programming and execution of Information Technology support and requirements for all G1 Manpower systems. Identify contract requirements to manage and resource G1 IT (Information Technology) systems and materials to support the mission and vision. Brief the resources process to include the performance of command level planning, programming, budgeting, and execution (PPBE) cycles for automation. Give advise, counsel, or instruction to employees on both work and administrative matters.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-14).
