You will serve as a OFFICE MANAGER in the ORDANANCE TEST AND EVALUATION DIVISION, WEAPONS AND ENERGETICS DEPARTMENT of NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV CHINA LAKE.
Duties
You will perform general office clerical support, receiving incoming telephone calls and taking messages, greeting official visitors, and arranging for proper identification/passes
You will receive, review, and process corresponding travel claims.
You will maintain calendar/schedule appointments, arrange meetings including conferences both on and off center, and track the status of data calls and their due dates.
You will work with the department's facilities manager to excess equipment including preparing the equipment for shipment and updating property management databases.
You will be required to meet the requirements of the Purchase Card buyer program and perform purchase card buyer duties as assigned.
Requirements

- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
DG-04
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the DG-03 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate duties related to the following: 1) Preparing memorandums in accordance with the Naval Correspondence Manual; 2) Preparing and processing travel documents, including travel orders, vouchers, and itineraries utilizing Defense Travel Systems (DTS); 3) Maintaining calendar/scheduling appointments and arranging meetings and/or conferences; 4) Performing a full range of office management procedures to support the planning, coordinating and/or prioritizing of tasks; 5) Utilizing Microsoft Office 365 tools suite.
DG-03
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the DG-02 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate duties related to the following:1) Editing correspondence for grammar, spelling, punctuation, format, and effective presentation of information; 2) Assisting with preparation of travel orders; 3) Receiving incoming phone calls and directed to the correct point of contact; 4) Greeting and assisting visitors that enter the building; 5) Ensuring office is appropriately supplied.
