Duties
Serves as the Chief of the Research, Review and Analysis Division within the Business Process Support Directorate.
Acts as an advisor to the Business Process Support Director by providing research, review and analysis of operational procedures, systems, and performance.
Directs a full range of studies to determine complex operational changes affecting performance and business decisions.
Provides recommendations and suggested business improvements, as well as developing plans for implementing the recommended improvements.
Oversees a team responsible for conducting Demand/Supply Chain performance analysis, data management, and operations research for the Site.
Provides timely insight to decision makers through the use of quantitative research and analytical techniques, and participates in the development, analysis, and evolution of new business practices, initiatives, and programs.
Develops and maintains the Major Subordinate Command (MSC)’s data, tools, and governance studies. Advises the Business Process Support Director and the MSC Commander on those efforts.

Qualifications
To qualify for a Demand/Supply Chain Officer, your resume and supporting documentation must support:
A. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position and is directly in or related to this position. To qualify at the GS-14 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military, or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-in-grade (General Schedule (GS) positions only), time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes:
Leading a team in identifying, distributing, and balancing workload among members in accordance with established workflow and skill level.
Applying and adapting quantitative research and analytical techniques and evaluation criteria to investigate, analyze, and evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of activities within the demand/supply chain area.
Developing and implementing corrective actions for complex process problems.

Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. Education
Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.
