About the Position: Serves as a Identity Management Program Manager for the Joint Activities located at Fort Liberty, North Carolina.
Duties
Research trends and emerging capabilities to inform the development and maintenance of updated instructional material.
Evaluates teamwork performance on administrative matters.
Makes recommendations for disciplinary actions, such as suspension or removal of members of the workforce.
Interprets department level and other higher headquarters policy for applicability and suitability to the command.
Provide guidance in the overall planning and programming of the command by analyzing existing organizational operations and processing capabilities.
Maintains the commands technical architecture to support command and subordinate unit operational requirements.
Briefs staff and supervisors the command’s technical programs on information, such as ongoing developmental efforts, trends, or applicable technologies and methods to support identity management.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Incumbent of the position will be required to complete a Form SF 312, Classified Information Nondisclosure Agreement (NDA).
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret security clearance with access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and selected Special Access Program (SAPs) based on a Tier 5 (or equivalent) investigation.
- Must be willing to undergo and successfully complete counter-intelligence scope polygraph with No Deception Indicated (NDI).
- The position may require TDY travel up to 30 days CONUS and OCONUS up to 20% of the time.
- This position is subject to a pre-employment urinalysis screening, and random testing thereafter, to include testing based on reasonable suspicion and testing due to direct involvement with an on-duty accident.
- Appointment to this position is subject to a one-year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 315.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1.) Facilitating the development and implementation of program operations (ie: program standards, data management methodologies, techniques for data collection, or processing and exploitations; 2.) Supporting and coordinating educational programs in identity management to develop, or update, organizational policies; 3.) Assisting in managing workforce assignments and monitoring performance by effectively distributing tasks and overseeing the completion of work from subordinates; 4.) Collaborating with organizational supervisors on the development of operational plans to promote program development and integration of data systems. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
