This position is located in Management Directorate, Office of Security & Integrity, Threat Management Division. As an Management and Program Analyst, you will serve as an expert advisor to management assessing risks and developing mitigation strategies for a wide range of complex assignments and special studies.

Duties

Serves as an expert advisor to senior management officials on major mission or administrative initiates for a wide variety of personnel and security-related issues and performs internal reviews/studies to improve the division's overall strategy. Recommends short and long-range program plans, goals, and objectives and is technical authority in the development of policies and procedures completing unusually complex assessments and special studies. Plans and conducts special studies, personally or through teams members, and develops and evaluates policies for implementation across security programs. Researches and writes reports or other working documents that provide authoritative guidance on complex and wide-impacting program issues.

Qualifications

The qualifications for this position must be met by 11:59 PM (Eastern Time) on 11/18/2024. Current Federal employees must have served 52 weeks at the lower grade or equivalent grade band in the Federal service. The Time-in-Grade requirement must be met by 11:59 PM (Eastern Time) on 11/18/2024. GS-14: You qualify at the GS-14 level if you possess one (1) year of specialized experience, which is equivalent to at least the GS-13 level in the federal government, that equipped you with the skills needed to successfully perform the duties of the position. You must have experience performing the following duties: Gathering and analyzing information related to proposed changes to assess risks; Performing internal reviews to improve unit's overall strategy; Conducting evaluations of administrative functions and preparing findings, recommendations, and reports; Planning and conducting complex assessments and special studies for management; Conducting analysis on various operations and making recommendations to ensure program goals are achieved.
