You will serve as a Security Assistant (O/A) of NAVBASE GUAM FORCE PROTECTION.
A Cost-of-Living-Allowance (COLA) of 12.04% will be added to the stated salary.
Duties
You will process applications for and issue installation access badges and/or credentials to nonaffiliated civilian personnel who require recurring and long-term installation access.
You will verify required documents for the issuance of permanent ID badges and process requests for the issuance of vehicle decals, temporary passes, contractor or vendor passes, or visitor passes
You will receive visitors, telephonic inquiries and requests, provide front-line face-to-face services, and email appointment requests.
You will ensure appropriate security measures as applicable to the physical security of terminals and performs technical security to protect against unauthorized access and use.
You will use computer software programs to manage data or prepare spreadsheets.
You will maintain daily calendar to schedule appointments, meetings, and conferences.
Requirements

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final secret security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-04 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing a variety of clerical and administrative duties related to a security program including customer service, visitor control and utilization of a security system and procedures. Examples of specialized experience include: 1) Receiving visitors, telephonic and email inquires or requests. 2) Review and verify required security documents. 3) Enter information into a security system. 4) Responds to requests for information such as status of reports, suspense dates for matters requiring compliance, etc. 5) Performs administrative custodian duties and coordinates preparation for all security program inspections or reviews.
This position requires the ability to type at least 40 words per minute. Your response to the typing skill question on the Occupational Questionnaire will be used in your qualification determination.

Education
In lieu of general/specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
Four years of education above high school
OR
A combination of education and experience which, when combined, is equivalent to 100% of the total requirement may be used to meet the specialized experience requirement. Only education in excess of the first 60 semester hours (i.e., beyond the second year) is creditable toward meeting the specialized experience requirement. One full academic year of study (30 semester hours) beyond the second year is equivalent to 6 months of specialized experience.
