About the Position: Position serves as a Human Resources (HR) Specialist (Military) with responsibility for providing technical advice and guidance on military HR management program. Position is in Human Resources Command (HRC), Reserve Officer Management Division, at Fort Knox, Kentucky.
Duties
Analyze facts identifies problems, report findings, make conclusions, and recommend corrective or other appropriate action.
Interpret and apply regulations, procedures, and/or precedents and to provide advice and solve specific problems.
Ability to develop integrated solutions to difficult problems.
Skill in oral and written communications to include the ability to prepare correspondence, reports, and briefings and the ability to present briefings.
Ability to use personal computer and knowledge of automated systems supporting military personnel programs and the ability to retrieve data for projects and reports.
Requirements

Experience Required: To qualify based on your work experience, the resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized experience is defined as utilize automated systems to retrieve data for management studies, projects, or reports as requested by Senior Leaders; deliver briefings concerning military personnel management matters to higher level officials frequently; manage military personnel programs in accordance with policies and procedures. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
