Duties

You will serve as a technical authoritative expert and represent the program Management Office (PMO) lead engineer. You will represent work of significant scope and complexity that demands subject matter expertise, high level interface within outside organizations, and can significantly impact the efforts of other projects. You will assist the Program Management Office (PMO) lead engineer with the management and development of a responsive and highly professional technical workforce. You will develop reference models of the enterprise and maintain the information in the IT repository. You will identify opportunities to improve enterprise-level systems to support business processes and utilize emerging technologies. You will document the enterprise architecture infrastructure, including the business units and key processes, using modeling techniques. You will ensure rigorous application of information security/information assurance policies, principles, and practices to all components of the enterprise architecture

• You will be required to obtain and maintain a Top Secret SCI security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
• This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
• You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
• You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
• Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
• This position is designated as a Cyber IT/Cybersecurity Workforce position. You must obtain and maintain the credentials as described in SECNAV M-5239.2 for specialty area 641 level Intermediate within 12 months of appointment.

Qualifications

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or NH-03 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Coordinating the efforts of Information Technology (IT) technical area experts; providing enterprise architecture support to customers and IT project teams; ensuring application of information security/information assurance policies, principles, and practices; recommending new equipment, configurations, system enhancements, or technological changes to improve system cost effectiveness and/or user productivity; AND participating in test planning, validation, and reviews.
