You will serve as a KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT OFFICER in the Training Command (TRNGCMD) Headquarters (HQ) of TRAINING AND EDUCATION COMMAND.
Duties
You will assist in implementing policy and program guidance governing the implementation and execution of Knowledge Management.
You will define and establish Knowledge Management tasks, provide advice on needed resources, and monitor/lead project progress to ensure that work is accomplished in a timely and effective manner.
You will contribute to the design, set up and maintenance of internal/external supporting websites and portals used for explicit and tacit knowledge exchange.
You will prepare written marketing materials, such as brochures, and web-content to advance Knowledge Management awareness and use.
You will develop training plans and materials for teaching the organization and its members how to access and use Knowledge Management capabilities.
Requirements

- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS sites, and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector Analyzing and evaluating the methodology and impact of multiple systems of information exchange in developing policy, plans, procedures, and directives to ensure integration and synchronization of Knowledge Management across a large organization
