Duties
You will perform preservation and restoration on all aircraft, missile and weapon system static displays.
You will catalog and track artifacts and aircraft inventory.
You will work with Explosive Safety to notify them of artifacts, ensure re-certifications occur.
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

- Work is performed in areas where potentially harmful physical and chemical agents are present (e.g. fumes, dust, heat, ionizing and non-ionizing radiation and chemicals). You will be required to participate in medical surveillance programs.
- You will be required to successfully complete a pre-appointment physical examination.
Qualifications
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lowest grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Grade level will be evaluated on the basis of degree of experience in the following areas:
1) experience in conservation measures, process, and techniques to restore and display historical artifacts;
2) performing preservation of aircraft, missile and weapon system static displays using knowledge of various shop trades such as aircraft preservation, and maintenance processes;
3) ability to use tools and equipment used in the restoration, preservation and maintenance of large-scale static displays;
4) maintaining, and tracking inventory of equipment/assets;
5) communicating and coordinating efforts related to maintenance and upkeep of industrial equipment/assets
