About the Position: This position is located with Evans Army Community Hospital, Fort Carson, Colorado. Recruitment or relocation incentives MAY be authorized for highly qualified candidates. Duties

Serves as the Lead Management and Program Analyst under the Chief of Manpower and Management Analyst Branch. Conducts the development of support agreements by performing extensive cost analysis. Modifies agreement specifications and costs to ensure that appropriate reimbursements are paid/reserved. Develops and maintains a complete inventory of all current and working agreements. Prepares and delivers oral presentations such as briefings, report, consultations, and strategy sessions with other staff service functions. Provides technical services as coach and negotiator for subordinates on team initiatives. Communicates work to subordinates based on priorities, difficulty of assignments, and the capabilities of employees.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Selectees will be required to sign a statement (Condition of Employment) consenting to seasonal influenza vaccinations or must provide a recognized exemption.
  • Immunization screening is required. Hepatitis B immunization is required for all positions with direct patient contact. Applicants may be required to show proof of other immunizations depending on the type of position.
  • Position is designated as Mission Essential. The incumbent will be required to report to work during times of contingency operations, natural disasters, extreme weather or other emergency situations.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes managing cost analysis for medical treatment facility expense support agreements; Communicating workload to subordinates based on priorities; reviewing agency annual budget agreements; and utilizing various automated medical system and financial reports to analyze financial data. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
